All You Need to Know about Orry and Tory Kids Festival

The Orry and Tory Kids Festival is a one-of-a-kind glamor and growth experience, designed to teach kids essential 21st-century skills such as confidence, leadership, public speaking, resilience, courage, teamwork, mindfulness and creativity. The festival features runway training, interactive workshops, and culminates in a spectacular Fashion Gala, where every child will have the opportunity to walk the ramp and showcase their confidence.

The festival takes place over two weekends, November 16-17 and 23-24, 2024, at the Alameda Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, California.

The Orry and Tory Kids Festival is open to children aged 4-16, with participants divided into six age groups to ensure tailored, age-appropriate activities:

  • Group A: 4-6 years
  • Group A: 4-6 years
  • Group B: 6-8 years
  • Group C: 8-10 years
  • Group D: 10-12 years
  • Group E: 12-14 years
  • Group F: 14-16 years

Your child will enjoy a variety of exciting activities at the festival:


  • The Confident Steps – Runway Training with Cyrene Renee (All age groups):
    Kids will gain confidence and presentation skills with Cyrene Renee, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and runway expert known for her work at New York Fashion Week and with international magazines.

  • Drum ‘n’ Learn with Drum Cafe (All age groups):
    This workshop uses drumming to teach teamwork and communication. Drum Cafe’s engaging exercises help kids build unity and confidence through rhythm. You do not need to have prior knowledge or experience in music or drumming. This is not a music class, however music is used as an interactive medium to teach kids about teamwork and communication.


  • Little Hearts, Big Strength – Mindful Growth with Taes Leavitt (4-6 & 6-8 years old):
    Taes Leavitt will guide kids through mindfulness and emotional resilience activities. This workshop combines music and storytelling to help children manage emotions and build confidence.


  • Rhythm and Resilience – Inspire, Move, Succeed with Cousin Danny (8-10 & 10-12 years old):
    Former LA Lakers choreographer Danny Batimana brings high-energy dance and movement to boost confidence and mental health for kids.


  • Overcome & Achieve – Challenge Perspective with Duncan Kirkwood(12-14 & 14-16 years old):
    Duncan Kirkwood will teach resilience and self-confidence, offering practical tools for overcoming setbacks and navigating social media’s impact.

  • Parent – Kid Dance Partydate (All age groups) :
    A high-energy, dynamic dance event that promises an unforgettable bonding experience, bringing kids and parents together for a celebration filled with excitement and joy.

  • Talent Showcase Stage (All age groups): Kids can book a slot to perform solo or in a group, showcasing their talents. Limited spaces available.
  • Junior Startup Fair (All age groups): For aspiring young entrepreneurs, this fair offers kids aged 4-16 a chance to display and sell their products. Limited spaces available for those ready to turn their ideas into reality.
The Orry and Tory Kids Festival takes place over two weekends, November 16-17 and 23-24, 2024. However, you and your child are only required to attend for 3 days. On November 16th and 17th, kids will participate in runway training, interactive workshops, and enjoy the parent-child bonding DJ dance party.

The performance days are on November 23rd and 24th, where your child will walk the ramp. Depending on their group, they will attend either on the 23rd or the 24th for their runway walk on stage for the Grand Fashion Gala.

Yes! Parents are encouraged to join in on the excitement and involvement. There are sessions planned for parents drum cafe, workshop with Cyrene, Duncan, Taes and Duncan on various topics, these are optional. They can take part in interactive sessions, cheer for their kids during the gala event, and enjoy the Orry and Tory Party. For the safety and well-being of the children, at least one parent or legal guardian must be present at the venue for the entire duration of their child’s participation in the festival. Please note, however, that parents are not permitted to enter the rooms where the kids are attending workshops.

  • November 23rd and 24th: 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Yes, each age group has only 300 spots available, so early registration is recommended to secure a place.

Early Bird tickets are $199 + applicable charges and are available until September 30th, 2024. Prices will increase after that date.

Yes, standard tickets will be available from October 1st to 31st, 2024 for $249+ applicable charges, and last-call tickets from November 1st to 16th, 2024 for $299 + applicable charges.

For the runway training, workshops and party on November 16th and 17th,2024, each child is allowed to be accompanied by up to 2 people either parents or legal guardians.

Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable. Please make sure you’re available on the festival dates before purchasing.


We recommend comfortable clothing for the workshops on November 16th and 17th, as the kids will be active and engaged in various activities. Since it may be cold in November, please ensure your children are dressed warmly and comfortably.
 

For the Fashion Gala days (November 23rd and 24th), parents are encouraged to dress their kids in glamorous, fashionable outfits, allowing their personal style to shine on the runway!

No, the Fashion Gala is a non-competitive event. Parents and children will act as their own stylists, showcasing their unique and glamorous styles. Guests are invited to arrive prepared to walk the red carpet and enjoy the fashion show.
Children will shine as they walk in the fashion show gala, while parents can cheer them on and show their support. It’s a wonderful celebration, and you’re encouraged to invite friends and family to join in this special occasion (additional tickets available for purchase).

Attires, greenrooms, makeup, and hair services will not be provided by our team. Parents are responsible for dressing their kids in fashionable attire of their choice and will act as their children’s stylists. Children should arrive at the event already dressed from home.
The Fashion Gala event will be approximately 2-3 hours for each group. Kids-parents will arrive dressed to walk the red carpet and enjoy the fashion show. The first hour will be dedicated to the Red Carpet, where they will walk and get their pictures taken.

Afterward, the kids will settle into their spaces while parents sit in the audience. The runway show will follow, lasting about 3 hours. Once the event concludes, the kids are free to go home.

Meals are not provided, but there will be food vendors on-site. No outside food and beverages are allowed, as per venue rules.
